I am a second year pharmacy student at the University of Minnesota, where I also received my BA in child psychology. I own a home with my husband and our three year old daughter in the suburbs. A typical day consists of a 45-70 minute commute on a metro transit bus (or on occasion, the lightrail), a 15 minute walk across campus, and a day filled with science and health care lectures, meetings, labs, and community experience. Additionally, I work at a retail pharmacy a weekend or two a month. At the end of the day, I am responsible not only for my coursework, but also for feeding, bathing, and putting my little princess to bed. My life is at times chaotic, but I wouldn’t have it any other way.
